This second story addition to a 50’s ranch style lends a sophisticated presence to the property.

The lantern cupola gives great volume to the new master suite while letting light in during the winter and warm air escape in the summer. The new master bath has a heated tile floor, glass-block shower and Silestone vanity top.

The family stayed in the house throughout the remodel; we used large tarps to keep out the rain until the roof was finished. A downstairs bedroom became a spacious living room alcove while accommodating the new winding stairway.
