Broadmoor front entry, porch & railing

After

Before

The first phase of this job entailed building a new front entry door and sidelights. There were no manufactured doors that matched the historic detailing of the house so Kimber built the door and sidelights from raw lumber. He used three-ply construction to create mortise and tenon joints, giving stability to the heavy 2 1/8” thick door.

Other main level doors and windows were replaced with historically accurate Marvin SDL insulated glass assemblies.

We rebuilt the entire wrap-around porch with historically accurate materials and detailing.
