Elizabeth Butler Janney
Elizabeth has worked in the architectural field for 14 years with extensive
experience in historical renovation and preservation.
She has been involved with adopting many buildings to the National Historic
Register and has experience with the Colorado Springs North End Historic
Preservation Committee and the Manitou Springs Historic Preservation Commission.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University
of Notre Dame, she began her career in Chicago working at Linda Grubb & Associates,
Architects specializing in historic projects. In 1991, she moved to Colorado
and worked for Bill Brown AIA Architects for three years traveling around
the country designing churches.
In 1997, she became a Peace Corps Volunteer and went to the Philippines
to assist with town planning. In 1999, she moved back to Colorado Springs
and began Kiva Construction, Inc. with Kimber.
