Kimber C. Janney
Kimber has worked in Colorado Springs as a carpenter for 24 years and as
a licensed general contractor for 20.
He began his career renovating older Victorian apartment houses and office
buildings in the downtown area. As a co-owner and license holder for KRK
Construction, Inc., from 1993-97, he supervised renovation of Kimball’s
Twin Peak Theater and other downtown retail and office buildings.
He also supervised construction of the visitor center at Aiken Canyon as
well as several other straw bale construction projects.
He currently holds and ‘A’ level commercial contractor’s
license. His experience includes older residential and commercial buildings:
theaters, restaurants, and retail sales establishments. He is an accomplished
woodworker and enjoys building custom doors, cabinets and furniture.
